Comprehensive Exam
Your first appointment at Accent Dental Center will include a one-hour comprehensive exam with one of our experienced doctors. This exam allows us to thoroughly evaluate your dental health and discuss any concerns or questions you may have. As a part of your comprehensive examination, we will complete the below processes.
X-Rays
During your initial visit, we will take a series of dental x-rays to help us assess your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures. These x-rays provide a detailed view of your dental anatomy, enabling us to diagnose any potential issues and create a personalized treatment plan.
Digital Photographs
We will also take digital photographs of your teeth and oral cavity. These images will be used for documentation, treatment planning, and to monitor your progress over time.
Oral Cancer Screening
Your health and safety are our top priorities, which is why we include an oral cancer screening for the mouth, head, and neck during your comprehensive exam. Early detection is critical in treating oral cancer, and our screening process is designed to identify any potential signs or symptoms.
Please note that we do not schedule teeth cleanings during your first visit to Accent Dental Center. The comprehensive exam is our primary focus during this initial appointment, as it allows us to gain a better understanding of your dental needs. After the exam, we will schedule a follow-up appointment for a teeth cleaning based on the doctor’s recommendations.
To make the most of your first visit, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Please bring your insurance information, if applicable, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. If you have any specific concerns or dental issues, please let us know, so we can address them during your appointment.
